According to reports from 'First News', an automatic weapon was discovered in the vehicle of Abel Hovsepyan, the head of the Ejmiatsin office of Arthur Vanetsyan's 'Homeland' party, during a police raid in the city on the evening of yesterday.
The police confirmed to 'First News' that such an incident took place. During the search, an object resembling an AK-74 assault rifle was found. A criminal case has been initiated, and an investigation is underway.
It is noteworthy that Abel Hovsepyan is the son of Armen Hovsepyan, who was the head of security for former National Assembly deputy Seyran Saroyan (known as 'Ataman').
