Achieving Nikol Pashinyan's Resignation Through Street Protests Has Not Yielded Results, Journalist Tells Iveta Tonoyan
"Achieving Nikol Pashinyan's resignation through street protests has not yielded results. What are you prepared to do if the Prime Minister does not resign for months?" asked a journalist during a parliamentary briefing directed at Prosperous Armenia party MP Iveta Tonoyan.
"I believe it is too early to assess whether the struggle has produced results or not. The struggle is ongoing, and I am more than confident that we will succeed in this endeavor, as there is no alternative to Nikol Pashinyan’s resignation," Tonoyan stated.
She attributed the low turnout at rallies to the fact that the people are currently in mourning and shock.
The MP emphasized that all possible tools would be utilized to achieve the Prime Minister’s resignation, whether through civil disobedience actions or rallies, "until the awareness of the need to resign matures in Pashinyan."
