UN Calls on Yerevan and Baku to Resume Negotiations Under the OSCE Minsk Group
The UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called on Yerevan and Baku to resume negotiations under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group to achieve sustainable peace, his spokesperson Stephan Dujarrick has announced.
“The Secretary-General calls on the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan to embark on the path of dialogue which leads to regional peace, stability, and prosperity. The UN is ready to assist in addressing the humanitarian needs of those affected by the conflict, and to increase assistance to Armenia and Azerbaijan upon receiving appropriate requests,” said the Secretary-General’s spokesperson.
