Timing of Pompeo's Separate Meetings with Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Revealed
On October 23, in Washington, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will have separate meetings with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia. According to a report by TASS, referencing a statement from the U.S. Department of State, the scheduled times for these meetings have been announced.
At 5:30 PM Yerevan time, Pompeo will meet with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. An hour later, at 6:30 PM, he will engage in talks with Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.
Additionally, a meeting of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group will take place, with Igor Popov, representing Russia, holding separate discussions with U.S. representatives concerning the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is already in Washington and has met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker.
