Mayor of Meghri Injured by Shelling in Artsakh

The Mayor of Meghri, Mkhitar Zakaryan, has been injured by shelling from the adversary in southern Artsakh. He has been transferred to Yerevan, where he has received the necessary medical assistance, and his condition is currently stable.

The spokesperson for the Meghri municipality, Mariam Tsatryan, wrote on her page: "I just spoke with the Mayor of Meghri. The surgery lasting 4 hours (from shoulder to elbow - orthopedic) has been completed. He is feeling better and is doing well. It is important to emphasize that Mayor Mkhitar Zakaryan was injured not at the Meghri positions, but in southern Artsakh. The situation in Meghri is calm."
