Do Not Allow Anyone to Take Photos of Your Identification Documents
In recent days, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has received reports of a group of individuals acting in the name of the ministry visiting citizens who have found temporary shelter in Armenia from Artsakh, as well as those who have hosted our compatriots from Artsakh. The individuals claiming to represent the ministry are demanding and photographing the passports of citizens from Artsakh. Additionally, fraudsters exploiting the ministry's name are demanding money from our compatriots from Artsakh to resolve accommodation or transportation issues.
Please remain vigilant: “Do not allow anyone to take photos of your identification documents. Demand that anyone representing a state authority present identification proving their affiliation. Report any such incidents to the Police at 1-02, or contact the Military Situation Hotline at 117. If that is not possible, consult with your local hosts. Remember, for any social issues arising from the war, call 117, and do not pay any individuals promising you assistance,” states the message disseminated by the ministry.
