Poland's Parliamentary Salary to Aid Needs in Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict Zone, Says Polish MP
Polish MP Marta Kubiak has announced that the salary of Poland's parliament (Sejm) for the month will be directed towards purchasing essential goods for those affected by attacks in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.
“In light of the recent events in Armenia and the ongoing Azerbaijani attacks, including on civilian groups where a small Polish community resides, as a member of the committee on contacts with Poles living abroad, I am committed to donating my September salary from the Polish parliament to acquire essential goods that will reach those in need in the conflict zone,” wrote the Polish legislator.
