Pashinyan Has Phone Conversation with Putin: Russian Side Reiterates Importance of Immediate Cessation of Hostilities
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh during a phone call on Monday evening. This was reported by the Kremlin's press service.
According to the released statement, Putin noted that the escalation of the conflict had taken on a large scale and had affected the civilian population.
"The President of Russia emphasized the necessity for an immediate ceasefire," the press service report stated.
