Sotk-Karvachar Highway Closed
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that roads in Armenia are accessible. However, due to safety concerns, the Sotk-Karvachar highway is closed.
As for Lars, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Department and the North Ossetia Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, due to the state of emergency, the Stepanstinda-Lars highway is open only for freight transport vehicles.
Information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia indicates that the decision to prohibit foreigners from entering Georgia remains in effect. The ban does not apply to freight transportation.
