I Hope Our Fellow Countrymen Will Soon Travel to Russia: Mikayel Melkumyan

Member of the "Prosperous Armenia" faction, Mikayel Melkumyan, made a post on his Facebook page:

“Dear compatriots, for months now, several thousand citizens of the Republic of Armenia living and working in the Russian Federation have been unable to enter the Russian Federation and reunite with their families and loved ones, finding themselves in a dire situation. The state should not be indifferent and ignore the urgent resolution of this issue.

This morning, I sent a letter to my colleague in the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration, and Relations with Compatriots, L.I. Kalashnikov, asking for assistance in resolving this issue by urgently addressing the government of the Russian Federation.

I hope that appropriate solutions will be found soon and our compatriots will be able to travel to the Russian Federation.
