‘Fact’. Large Tent Gathering During State of Emergency

‘Fact’ newspaper reports that an interesting gathering took place recently in the Lori region. A local youth organization organized a tent gathering attended by approximately 200-250 youths from Lori, according to various estimates, in the Tashir area. Existing photographs show that health regulations were not observed during the gathering; furthermore, such a large tent gathering is prohibited by the decisions of the emergency command.

In a report by the regional ‘Fortuna’ television company about the gathering, the organizers note that the event is being held with the support of the Lori regional administration. According to 'Fact' newspaper's sources, the financial support was provided by local municipalities, mostly in the form of donations, upon the initiative of the regional administration.

Our sources also inform that such gatherings are planned in the future, which many believe have a political agenda related to the upcoming (or ‘desirable’) local self-government elections, primarily the council elections of Vanadzor (and consequently, the mayor's election).
