Severe Condition, Blindness: New Details on Alcohol Poisoning Cases from the Ministry of Health

In recent days, cases of alcohol poisoning have been reported in the republic. Unfortunately, there are also victims, including deaths. The likely source of poisoning is the consumption of non-factory-produced vodka and medical alcohol. The cause of poisoning is the use of non-factory-produced vodka.

In a conversation with Auroranews, Alina Nikoghosyan from the Ministry of Health stated that as of September 7 at 11:00, no new cases of poisoning have been recorded. However, 7 patients continue to receive treatment in various medical institutions in Yerevan, of which 3 are at Armenia Medical Center (1 patient in severe condition, 2 in serious condition with blindness), 2 are at Erebuni Medical Center (in critical condition, one of whom is also suffering from blindness), 1 is at Hospital No. 1 (in critical condition), and 1 is at St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center (in serious condition).
