US Tightens Measures Against 'Birth Tourism': 600 Visas Revoked
In a bid to combat 'birth tourism,' the U.S. Department of State has established a special office. According to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the department has already revoked 600 visas.
The newly created office will focus on verifying visa holders and uncovering illegal schemes related to traveling to the U.S. for the purpose of giving birth and obtaining citizenship for their children.
