Meeting Held in Artsakh Between Arthur Vanetsyan and Vitaly Balasanyan
A meeting took place in Artsakh between Arthur Vanetsyan and Vitaly Balasanyan. This was reported on the Facebook page of the 'Hayrenik' party.
On August 18, a meeting was held in the office of the 'Justice' party in Artsakh, attended by the Chairman of the 'Hayrenik' party, Arthur Vanetsyan, and the leader of the 'Justice' party, Artsakh hero Vitaly Balasanyan.
Welcoming the guests, Balasanyan expressed his readiness to hear the concerns of the 'Hayrenik' party and to create a favorable environment for collaboration through ongoing exchange of ideas.
'During all meetings with political forces, individuals, and every concerned citizen of the Republic of Armenia, we have emphasized that what is happening today is of a dangerous nature. If the Motherland records even a one-millimeter deviation, anti-state developments will occur, which would mean destruction for Artsakh, the Motherland, and the entire Armenian nation,' Balasanyan stressed.
Pointing to the undeniable role of Artsakh hero Balasanyan in the process of the struggle and victory for Artsakh, Vanetsyan emphasized that while Artsakh and Armenia are two different states on the international arena, they are deeply interconnected within the framework of the idea of 'One Homeland, Two States.'
Vanetsyan noted that recently, Balasanyan participated as a presidential candidate in the presidential elections held in Artsakh, receiving a considerable number of votes. 'The results of the elections clearly showed that a significant portion of the Artsakh population supports and trusts the political and military figure of Vitaly Balasanyan. It is not without reason that the 'Justice' party is represented as the third parliamentary force in the Artsakh National Assembly,' Vanetsyan stated.
Addressing the Armenian internal political processes, Vanetsyan highlighted that the 'Hayrenik' party is an opposition political force in Armenia, based on the preservation of national values and advancement of state interests.
Emphasizing that the political power in the Republic of Armenia is, to put it mildly, 'unhealthy,' Vanetsyan expressed the belief that without a strong opposition, the government poses a danger to the state and the people.
'Certain forces are currently infringing upon our national values and identity, but alongside like-minded individuals, we will fight against individuals and groups with such anti-state mindsets,' Vanetsyan said, pointing out that no value exists above state interests, and thus, the gathering should take place around this idea.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Vanetsyan mentioned that before his visit to Artsakh, the 'Hayrenik' party had hosted representatives of the 'Justice' party in Yerevan, and that reciprocal visits between the two political forces will occur regularly.
'In the near future, a close collaboration between the two political forces will be established, with a memorandum of cooperation serving as a documentary basis for this partnership,' summed up Vanetsyan regarding the meeting.
