Fatal Head-On Collision in Ararat Region Involving Mitsubishi Chariot and ВАЗ 2106

Today, on August 1, a major and tragic traffic accident occurred in the Ararat region. At approximately 08:20, a head-on collision took place between a Mitsubishi Chariot and a ВАЗ 2106 on the road connecting Masis and Sayat Nova.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, three individuals were transported to the "Masis" medical center with bodily injuries as a result of the accident. While senior investigator Margary Margaryan from the first platoon of the 2nd police battalion was conducting an examination at the accident site, the hospital reported that one of the injured had died.

The police and the investigative department are working to determine the identities of the drivers, the deceased, and the injured parties.
