This is a hidden agenda being implemented in Armenia. Arthur Vanetsyan
In Artashat, the "Homeland" party office was inaugurated today, with the party leader and former NSS director Arthur Vanetsyan in attendance.
Vanetsyan also addressed the new education standards, noting that the recent changes in educational programs and the education law have faced significant criticism, and he agrees with nearly all of the criticisms. He also informed that the party has been engaging in active discussions related to education, and they will present their approaches in more depth and detail in the near future.
"What has been initially proposed, such as removing the subject of 'Armenian Literature' from the curriculum, despite some justifications that they are only removing the Armenian word, or eliminating the subject of 'History of the Armenian Church,' is simply unacceptable. This is one of the hidden agendas that are being attempted in Armenia to distort our national identity, traditions, and history. We will not allow it; we will do everything to ensure our education system goes in the right direction. If we want to have a good society in the future, we must provide our children with the right education from kindergarten and school, so that as they grow up, they become full-fledged members of society. That is why we consider the programs implemented in the education sector at this stage unacceptable and intolerable," he emphasized.
