‘Turkey’s response should not be viewed solely as support for Azerbaijan’: Tigran Abrahamyan
The former advisor to the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Tigran Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page: 'As expected, the hardest and one-sided responses to the situation in Tavush came from Turkey. However, Turkey's response should not be seen merely as support for Azerbaijan. Turkey has established positions regarding our region long ago, and these constitute a threat to Armenia and Artsakh. In all processes directly or indirectly related to Turkey, this simple truth must be recognized and always remembered: that the official Ankara’s goal is not merely to secure its presence as an observer in regional processes, and the tough statements made are the minimum through which Turkey expresses its stance towards Armenia.'
