Second Interim Report on Shelling of Tavush Communities Being Prepared by Arman Tatoyan
Currently, the Office of the Human Rights Defender is preparing a second interim report in English regarding the shelling of the communities of Chinari, Aygepar, and Berd in the Tavush region, which will be sent to international organizations. This was announced by Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan on his Facebook page.
Today, on July 14, residents of Berd city informed the Office of the Human Rights Defender that the city is undergoing shelling and provided details of the incidents.
The Human Rights Defender has recorded statements from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia regarding the targeting of civilian infrastructure and peaceful residents of Berd by Azerbaijani strike UAVs.
Arman Tatoyan strongly condemns the shelling of Armenian civilian settlements, which poses a threat to the health, life, and property of the peaceful population.
