Due to the escalation of the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, which is a consequence of the clashes that occurred on July 12 in the Tavush direction, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas has initiated an extraordinary meeting of the CSTO Permanent Council on July 13.
It is noteworthy that in the morning, the adversary resumed provocative actions, continuing to shell towards Armenian positions. This was reported by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Shushan Stepanyan. She stated that appropriate responses have been given by the military units. An increase in enemy casualties cannot be ruled out.
