Criminal Targeting of Civil Infrastructure and Population in Chinari and Aygepar
We strongly condemn Azerbaijan's continued attempts to maintain tension along the northeastern sector of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and, for this purpose, the criminal targeting of civil infrastructure and population in the villages of Chinari and Aygepar in Tavush Province, which is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan.
"Azerbaijan must unconditionally cease such actions and take necessary measures to prevent further escalation, for which it bears full responsibility," she emphasized.
