‘Zhamanak’: Georgia Will Not Open the Border with Armenia
‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports: “Our Georgian sources inform us that the authorities of that country do not intend to open the border with Armenia as long as a state of emergency is in effect in Armenia. The Georgian opposition demands that the borders with neighboring countries be opened, which would allow Georgian businesses to earn money, especially during the summer tourist season. However, the Georgian authorities are strongly opposed to this, citing the existence of a state of emergency in Armenia as justification.”
