Video: Construction of the Tatev-Aghvan-Kapan Strategic Highway Begins - Papikyan

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Suren Papikyan, has announced that construction is underway for the Tatev-Aghvan-Kapan strategic highway.

"Currently, the major renovation of the 12.5 km segment from Tatev to Aghvan is in progress. In 2019, a 6 km section from the Satan Bridge to Tatev-Aghvan was renovated. More renovations are planned for 2021, covering an additional 17.5 km of the Tatev-Aghvan route, and in 2022, another 10 km segment will undergo renovation. The road was last renovated in the 1980s," stated the minister in his Facebook post.
