Police Chief Issues Strict Instructions to Departments on Illegal Weapons and Ammunition
According to the official news from the Police, it is noticeable that there are a significant number of reports about the voluntary handover or seizure of illegal weapons. Sources from the Police tell the "Fact" newspaper that the new Police Chief Vahe Ghazaryan has emphasized the importance of collecting illegal weapons in the hands of the population since his first day in office and has issued rather strict instructions to the departments regarding this matter.
Our source states that the new police chief has served in the field of criminal investigation for many years and "is well aware of the consequences of illegal weapons on the country's crime situation." However, for the sake of fairness, it should be noted that it is clear even to non-specialists what a calamity the possession of weapons by citizens has been for an extended period—there are many reports of various crimes being committed with these, ranging from hooliganism to murder. One can only hope that the police chief will also fight with the same diligence against the fireworks that have become a headache for citizens every night," the newspaper writes.
