No COVID-19 Cases in Norq House of the Elderly; 10 Infected Passed Away, Says Sona Martirosyan
Ten elderly patients infected with coronavirus have passed away at the Norq House of the Elderly. This was stated by Sona Martirosyan, the press secretary of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, in an interview with Auroranews.
According to her, there are currently no accurate figures on the total number of infected individuals. “After the first 17 cases recorded in May, testing has been conducted almost daily. All 28 employees of the facility who were infected have now recovered. They were not hospitalized as there was no necessity. They returned to their normal work about a month ago,” she said.
Martirosyan also noted that there are no cases of coronavirus in the house, neither among the staff nor among the elderly residents.
