First Increase of Property Tax to Occur in 2021, Full Transition Planned for 2026: Government
The government of the Republic of Armenia has released a video on their Facebook page regarding property tax.
“A new property tax system is being introduced, under which real estate will be taxed based on its market value rather than the previous cadastral value. The first increase in property tax will occur in 2021, with a complete transition expected by 2026. You can familiarize yourself with the current cadastral values and taxes, the market-value approximated cadastral values, and real estate taxes at https://www.e-cadastre.am/ratedEstate,” the post accompanying the video states.
