Enhanced Security Measures at Zvartnots Airport: AAMD

The Health and Labor Inspection Body of Armenia's Zvartnots medical sanitary checkpoint continues to operate on an enhanced schedule. All arrivals to Armenia, primarily from Russia via charter flights and other routes, undergo mandatory temperature checks and are examined for concerning clinical symptoms. They are also provided with face masks.

All individuals' data is immediately entered into the 'Armed' electronic system, significantly accelerating the process of obtaining a complete picture of the information and relaying it to the local clinics based on the individuals' places of residence.

Upon entering the country, the staff at the AAMD checkpoint also informs arrivals about the mandatory 14-day self-isolation requirement. Everyone reviews and signs this requirement; entry into the country is not permitted without signing. The self-isolation notice provided also outlines the penalties for violations of this requirement.
