Strict Inspections in Sevan and Gavar Resulting in Violations
Today, on July 5, in the food chain facilities of Sevan and Gavar in the Gegharkunik region, the State Inspectorate for Food Safety (SIFSA) has identified violations of the sanitary and hygiene requirements established by the decisions of the RA Prime Minister. The staff did not properly wear masks and gloves, not all customers were temperature checked, and there were deficiencies in the records regarding temperature measurement and disinfection. This information was reported by the State Inspectorate for Food Safety of Armenia.
The inspections continue across all regions of the republic, including in the capital's retail network, public catering organizations, and food production facilities. The reports on the identified violations will be submitted to the emergency management agency. The State Inspectorate for Food Safety will continue to monitor the compliance with the requirements set by the Prime Minister’s decisions in connection with the fight against coronavirus.
