6 People Died from COVID-19 in the Last Day; 4 Deaths Due to Other Causes

As of July 2 at 11:00 AM, a total of 26,658 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, of which 15,036 have recovered, and 459 have resulted in death. Currently, there are 11,010 patients receiving treatment for the virus. In total, 115,765 tests have been conducted.

Thus, there are 593 newly confirmed coronavirus cases and 473 recoveries. Regarding the death toll, the Ministry of Health reports that the deceased patients were aged 79 (female), 68 (female), 62 (female), 63 (male), 72 (female), and 78 (female). All had underlying chronic health conditions.

On the previous day, 4 deaths were recorded where patients were confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus; however, the deaths were attributed to other illnesses. The total number of such cases is 153.
