VIDEO: Programs Aimed at Improving Demographic Situation Launch Today - Zaruhy Batoyan

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Zaruhy Batoyan, addressed programs aimed at improving the demographic situation during a live broadcast on Facebook, announcing their launch starting today.

Some of the programs relate to childcare, while others focus on one-time birth assistance and housing programs for families with children.

"These programs are designed to create more favorable conditions for families who are delaying starting a family or having children due to various social issues or the lack of housing support. Improving the demographic situation is critically important for us in terms of national security; hence, the government initiated a series of programs back in 2019 and has naturally held discussions and announced these programs since then. The programs launching today also aim to address this goal," said Zaruhy Batoyan.
