Some Members of the Constitutional Court Have Decided to Disrupt Its Operations

The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports: "Although the government claims that the crisis in the Constitutional Court has been resolved, those unwilling to leave their positions have decided to show the authorities what the real crisis is.

The scheduled procedural meeting of the Constitutional Court yesterday did not take place due to a lack of quorum. Hrayr Tovmasyan and Arevik Petrosyan are on vacation. Despite their absence, the meeting could still have occurred with the participation of six court judges, yet several others were also absent. Present at the meeting were only Arayik Tunyan, Ashot Khachatryan, Arman Dilyan, and for the first time, Vahe Grigoryan.

According to our sources, some members of the Constitutional Court have opted to disrupt its operations by not participating in meetings, demonstrating what the real crisis is. The urgent leave taken by Hrayr Tovmasyan and Arevik Petrosyan is also part of a plan to create a crisis. This situation is likely to continue until the completion of the court's reform.
