Prosecutor General's Office Files Cassation Appeal Against Court Ruling on Kocharian's Detention
The Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has filed a cassation appeal against the decision of the Court of Appeal regarding the detention of former President Robert Kocharian. This appeal has already been submitted to the Supreme Court of Armenia, as confirmed in a conversation with Tert.am by representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office.
It is noteworthy that on June 18, the Court of Appeal granted the request of defense attorneys for Robert Kocharian, the defendant in the March 1 case, and released the former president on a 2 billion dram bail.
