Zhanna Barseghyan Elected Mayor of Strasbourg
French politician of Armenian descent, Zhanna Barseghyan, has been elected as the Mayor of Strasbourg, reports Tellerreport.
Barseghyan, an environmentalist, secured 42.5% of the votes in the ongoing municipal elections in Strasbourg. She leads the list of the French party "Europe, Ecology, Greens."
