No Irregular Queues Recorded at the Zoo
Since early this morning, the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia, in collaboration with the Police of Armenia, has been conducting oversight on compliance with anti-epidemic measures in the Nor Nork administrative district of Yerevan.
The inspection at the zoo confirmed that there were no irregular queues or gatherings of people at the ticket office. Visitors in the ticket area maintained social distance in accordance with the markings on the floor. Temperature checks and hand sanitization were conducted on-site, and signs indicating "Entry Only with Masks" were also present.
The inspectors carried out educational activities with visitors regarding the proper wearing of masks and avoidance of crowds and provided medical masks as needed.
It is reminded that according to Decision No. 139 of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, dated June 16, 2020, the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body together with the Police conducts supervision to prevent human gatherings, irregular queues, to ensure mask-wearing and social distancing in the areas of immovable historical and cultural monuments, other historical, cultural, natural, scientific, and various attractions of tourism interest, as well as in areas concentrated with natural, socio-cultural, and health resort resources, recreational camps, and camping sites (complexes).
