Lusavor Armenia Will Not Attend the Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly
The Lusavor Armenia faction will not participate in the extraordinary session of the National Assembly scheduled for tomorrow. Ani Samsonyan, a member of the faction, stated this in a conversation with NEWS.am.
"If the proposed drafts are part of the previous package, there is no point since we did not participate in the previous one," emphasized Ani Samsonyan.
It is noteworthy that just earlier, Vahagn Hovakimyan, a member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs, announced on his Facebook page that today a package of draft amendments to the Constitutional Law on the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia and a draft on amendments to the Law on Ensuring the Activities, Services, and Social Guarantees of Officials have been submitted for circulation, along with a draft decision to declare the decision dated February 6, 2020, on submitting the draft constitutional amendments to a referendum as invalid.
