Armenia Receives New Mobile X-ray Machine Donation

The U.S. Agency for International Development's mission in Armenia provided the Ministry of Health with a mobile X-ray machine for use in the 'St. Gregory the Illuminator' medical center during the treatment of patients with positive diagnoses of Covid-19.

'Since the declaration of a state of emergency in Armenia, the United States has tailored its support to meet the needs of our Armenian partners, assisting them in effectively combating the COVID-19 pandemic by reshaping and increasing the U.S. government's financial assistance to Armenia by $6.6 million. Over the past 20 years, the United States has made a total investment of more than $1.57 billion in Armenia, of which $106 million was dedicated solely to the healthcare sector,' the statement noted.
