Direct Flight from Los Angeles to Yerevan on July 11, Announced by Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles

Considering the situation in the aviation market caused by COVID-19 and especially the accumulation of our compatriots in California, the Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles has advised that Cross Group will conduct a direct charter flight from Los Angeles to Yerevan on July 11 as part of the LAX2EVN project. This information is reported on the Armenian Consulate's website in Los Angeles.

"The flight will be available to Armenian citizens, foreigners who have permanent residency rights in Armenia, as well as foreign nationals who have family members residing in Armenia (spouse/partner/parent/child)," the message states.

According to the Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles, the flight will be operated by Icelandair’s Boeing 767, which is equipped with economy and business class seating. For refueling purposes, the aircraft will make a technical stop in Reykjavik, lasting 1 hour. The total flight duration is 15 hours, including the stop.

"If you wish to purchase tickets for this flight, please fill out your information on the lax2evn.com website. Employees of Cross Group will contact you within 48 hours to inform you about the payment process. Tickets can also be purchased from local travel agencies in Los Angeles. The price of an economy ticket is $1,350, while a business class ticket costs $2,350. Tickets for children aged 0-2 cost $100. The flight is made possible through the cooperation of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia, the Honorary Consulate of Iceland in Armenia, and Narek Mkrtchyan, a member of the Armenia-Iceland Parliamentary Friendship Group, as well as "Festa Avia" LLC.

In the event of cancellation for any reason, the full amount of the ticket will be refunded to the buyer within two weeks," the statement from the Armenian Consulate in Los Angeles concludes.
