I Invite You to the National Assembly to Discuss Property Tax Issues: Babken Tunyan
The Chairman of the National Assembly’s Permanent Commission on Economic Affairs, Babken Tunyan, has addressed the recent Facebook action by disgruntled residents of Yerevan regarding the increase in property tax.
“To the participants of the action, dear friends, I warmly invite you to the National Assembly to discuss issues surrounding property tax. We will answer your questions, and you will answer ours. I kindly ask you to select 5-7 individuals from among you who can represent your common concerns and viewpoints, and send me a private message.
However, we agree that the discussion will be public and sincere. P.S. - I personally do not differentiate between native and non-native residents. The law is the same for everyone. The invitation is aimed at those who consider themselves native Yerevantsi and believe that being native should play any role in this matter.”
