Enforcement of Penalties for Violating Anti-Epidemic Rules to Begin Soon: Pashinyan
The procedure for administrative offenses related to violations of the state of emergency legal regime is nearing the stage where fines issued for not wearing masks will begin to be enforced. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan following a session of the commandant's office.
“We are also discussing legislative changes that would shorten the time from imposing a fine to its collection. I reiterate that we are not implementing these measures to punish citizens, far from it, our objective is not to penalize anyone. We simply want to convey that each of us has the opportunity, even a guarantee, to avoid being fined, and that guarantee is compliance with anti-epidemic regulations,” emphasized Pashinyan.
