Alarming Report: Traffic Police Stop Vehicle of Constitutional Court's Head
Alarming reports have emerged that traffic police stopped the vehicle of the head of the Constitutional Court's staff, effectively restricting his freedom of movement. This was stated by human rights defender Ruben Melikyan on his Facebook page.
“At the moment when Arghisti Kiviryani and I arrived at the scene, traffic police were already 'restoring' Edgar Ghazaryan's freedom of movement without any documentation,” Melikyan wrote.
According to Melikyan, the justification for stopping the head of the Constitutional Court's staff and depriving him of his freedom of movement for a period of time was, to say the least, unconvincing.
