Targeted Program in Border Village Voskepar
Eight months ago, an external lighting system operating with LED floodlights was launched in the border village of Voskepar. A total of 40 floodlights have been installed, illuminating an entire neighborhood covering approximately 1.5 km of road. The modernization of community infrastructure has been supported by Viva-MTS and the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Values (FPWC). The community administration of Noyemberyan has also made its contribution.
The positive impact of the "Eco Village Network" program has already been assessed in Voskepar. The cooperating parties have decided to continue and nearly fully resolve the issue. It has been announced that the second phase of the long-term results-oriented program is set to launch. By the end of the year, it is planned to extend the illuminated sections of the village streets by 1250 meters. During a video call confirming all of this, the significant impact of the long-term and targeted program on border villages was discussed. The cooperating parties are confident that the program will enhance the safety of residents' lives in border villages and save community resources.
