Second Group of Doctors Arrives in Armenia on Special Flight from France
A second group of the French medical mission has arrived in Yerevan from Marseille, France, led by renowned French-Armenian doctor Laurent Papazian.
The group was welcomed at the airport by the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan, the Ambassador of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte, Deputy Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, and our office head Sara Anjargolyan.
One of the doctors in the group is of Armenian descent. The medical professionals arriving from France will join Armenian healthcare workers in the fight against COVID-19.
The initiative is being carried out in close collaboration with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, the Embassy of the French Republic in Armenia, and the French government.
