Putin Reveals His Favorite Vacation Spot

Khakasia is the favorite vacation destination of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This information was disclosed by Olga Kuzmina, head of the tourism development department of the region's Ministry of Economic Development. The National News Service (НСН) reported this.

She emphasized that the republic is proud of this and always awaits the state leader's visit.

Kuzmina described Khakasia as an "archaeological Mecca," boasting 30,000 cultural heritage monuments, many of which are of global significance. The official also compared the region to Switzerland, highlighting that it features all types of nature and relief.

"There are 500 mineral and healing lakes here. Khakasia is also known as the land of caves, with more than 300 already known caves," she added.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia plans to develop the tourism sector in regions where flight costs are high. In early June, the announcement was made regarding the imminent launch of the first charter flights to Kaliningrad, Lake Baikal, and Khakasia.

Thus, a holiday in Khakasia will start at 35,000 rubles. This price includes the flight, accommodation, and the excursion program.
