Suspect Involved in Bicycle Assault on MP Released
Arthur Aleksanyan, the suspect in the bicycle assault case against Nikolay Baghdasaryan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, has been released. This was announced by lawyer Emin Beglaryan on his Facebook page. “Just now, the judge A. Nikoghosyan decided to release my client, who had been in custody in the 'bicycle case', due to the lack of reasonable suspicion and grounds,” he wrote.
It is recalled that on May 11, MP Nikolay Baghdasaryan reported to the police that an unidentified individual was approaching him at high speed on a bicycle, attempting to run him over. Aleksanyan was charged under part 3 of Article 316 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
