I Am Forced to Disappoint Those Who Consider Ruben Hayrapetyan Guilty: Lawyer
I am forced to once again disappoint those who consider Ruben Hayrapetyan guilty by announcing that your expectations have not been justified. There is not a hint of factual evidence in the case that Ruben Hayrapetyan organized the illegal deprivation of freedom of H.Sh. (Hayk Shahnazaryan) against his will in the "Harsnakar" restaurant-hotel complex, or caused Hayk Shahnazaryan severe physical pain and mental suffering.
This was stated by Ruben Hayrapetyan's lawyer, Amram Makinyan, on his Facebook page. He wrote, in particular, "For now, addressing only one part of the investigative committee's statement released yesterday and immediately responding to numerous questions from journalists, I am forced to once again disappoint those who consider Ruben Hayrapetyan guilty by announcing that your expectations have not been justified. There is not a hint of factual evidence in the case that Ruben Hayrapetyan organized the illegal deprivation of freedom of H.Sh. (Hayk Shahnazaryan) against his will, or caused Hayk Shahnazaryan severe physical pain and mental suffering, etc. It is easy to guess why the investigative committee has disseminated such statements without any evidence… Saying something is one thing; substantiating it is another… I will present the continuation of the criminal procedural film with artistic formulations next time…"
