Statues of Upper Row Football Players from 'Ararat-73' Monument Stolen
Four statues of football players from the upper row of the monument dedicated to 'Ararat-73' have gone missing from the statue group located near Hrazdan Stadium.
According to Zarzand Gabrielian, head of the Media Relations and Public Communication Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, they received information at the Malatia police station about missing statues from the monument. 'Materials are being prepared,' he noted.
It is worth mentioning that the monument was created in connection with the 40th anniversary of 'Ararat-73'. The monument featuring busts of the players and coaches of 'Ararat-73' was installed in the square adjacent to Hrazdan Stadium on October 10, 2016.
