We Will Vet Everyone, Not Just Judges - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan
“We are in the process of developing mechanisms for verifying the integrity of judges, and we must do everything to ensure that this formation takes place in an appropriate manner,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a press conference today.
He noted that there is a law on the “Seizure of Illegally Acquired Property,” which applies to judges as well as to the Prime Minister and ministers. “Imagine if a judge has their illegally obtained property confiscated; it is clear that they cannot continue to work in that capacity. This is also a form of vetting. Now we are saying that we will vet everyone, not just judges,” he emphasized.
