Very Thoroughly Revealed What Happened on March 1 and the Investigation Should Continue: Pashinyan
Real gunmen's cartridges are not available, and we have no opportunity to identify these cartridges and try to find those weapons. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during an online press conference today in response to a question about the reopening of the March 1 case, while also avoiding answers to key questions.
According to the Prime Minister, it is not easy to uncover a case that has been hidden for ten years within two years. When asked who ultimately killed the ten innocent victims and whether he is satisfied with the progress of the investigation, the Prime Minister responded that what happened on March 1 has been very thoroughly clarified.
“The cartridges fired were altered by the head of the investigative team handling the case, who is now on the run. Why? Let him come and say what he did with those cartridges; maybe he himself knows the names of the perpetrators of the murder, and the investigation should continue.”
He emphasized that efforts should be made to bring this individual back to Armenia and arrest him, which is not easy; however, according to him, that path must be followed. “In general, it is clear who is within the framework of the murders, yes, we must go to the end, and the individuals who fired must be identified, but it is clear who formed illegitimate armed groups and introduced them among the people. Today, criminal cases have been initiated; some have been sent to the court,” he said, adding that the most important evidence has been falsified by the head of the investigative team, which, according to the Prime Minister, was not done at his initiative.
