Collision Between UAZ 63232 and Opel Causes Collapse of Over 10 Gas Pipeline Support Columns

A traffic accident occurred today in the Ararat region around 18:00, on the 22nd km of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, involving a UAZ 63232 vehicle with the license plate 500 AA 15 and an Opel vehicle with the license plate 36 MS 511. According to Shamshyan.com, initial reports indicate that there are no injuries as a result of the accident.

Medical teams from Artashat and Masis arrived at the scene and provided first aid to the drivers, who refused hospitalization, stating they had not sustained any injuries from the accident.

As a result of the collision, both vehicles left the roadway, broke more than 10 gas pipeline support columns, toppling them and ending up in a field.

The police are investigating the identities of the drivers. Representatives from Gazprom Armenia's Ararat regional gas service have also arrived on-site to undertake necessary measures to restore the fallen supports.
