Gagik Beglaryan Also Hiding in Russia: 'Zhamanak'
The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports: 'As is known, Gagik Beglaryan, the former mayor of Yerevan and former minister, who is involved as a suspect in several criminal cases, is not in Armenia. The National Security Service (NSS) also stated in its announcement regarding the latest criminal case that Gagik Beglaryan has left Armenia and a search warrant has been issued against him. Beglaryan's lawyer has already indicated that his client left Armenia in September 2019 for medical treatment.
According to 'Zhamanak', Gagik Beglaryan is also taking refuge in the Russian Federation. Furthermore, he is already traveling on a Russian citizen's passport, a photo proving this is in our possession. Thus, Beglaryan has become the 7th former official who, evading justice, is hiding in the Russian Federation.'
