Henrikh Mkhitaryan Discusses Armenian Team Play

When will Henrikh Mkhitaryan come to Armenia? In response to a fan's question, the captain of the Armenian national football team said that he currently has no such intention. Training has just begun, and it is still uncertain whether they will participate in the championship. However, he emphasized that he hasn’t been in Armenia for a long time and misses his friends and family.

Answering another question, the footballer disagreed with the notion that Armenians are weak in team play. According to him, the issue is not team play itself but, in some sense, the mentality. 'We need to work on ourselves and be able to help each other both on and off the field, and then we can say that we are strong in team play. Everyone has seen the victories the Armenian national team has achieved through teamwork. It was certainly not a coincidence.'

The player also shared that when people ask for autographs or want to take photos, he gladly agrees because it is part of football.
